Hello Gaynor,
It's been just over a month that Ollie and I were with you, and though still reluctant initially to socialise he's becoming more open to the notion and seems to enjoy it once he settles down into a situation. So now he's getting more walks and chats with people and other dogs and his confidence is improving. Also my daughters can't get over the fact that he now sits quietly inside the front door til he's allowed out (which makes for a far calmer atmosphere when I'm bringing shopping in from the car!).
