Adam Glover 

Trainee Dog Trainer

Adam is one of the newer members of the A1K9 team having joined us in March 2011 after completing six months on a City & County of Swansea employment scheme here.
When Adam came for his initial interview with Gaynor it had snowed heavily but he was not put off by this and after a journey by car and by foot, he still made it on time, such was his enthusiasm to work for A1K9.

Adam has always had a love for dogs, so being able to work with them every day and enjoying the outdoors, is a complete bonus for him. Adams passion and enthusiasm for his work has enabled him to progress very quickly and although he is a generally upbeat and happy character, the first time that he handed over a dog that he had helped to train, the sense of pride and achievement was clearly visible by the beaming smile that did not leave his face!

Adam has clearly found his niche and is a big hit with our clients who constantly remark on what a jolly person he is.

When not working, Adam is keen on sports generally, a passion that he has always had. He has previously played rugby for Wales Under 12’s and Under 16’s before a knee injury put him out of action. Adam still plays some Rugby locally and also enjoys football. When not playing, Adam does not miss an opportunity to support Swansea City, his favourite football team and he was absolutely delighted when Swansea was promoted to the premier league.

Adam has an active social life and we often wonder when he finds time just to sit and unwind.
