Andrew Harper 

Senior Dog Trainer

Andrew joined A1 K9 having previously worked for St James’s veterinary group and the RSPCA in Swansea where he had gained valuable experience in both canine care and general animal husbandry. He also spent some time working at Margam Country Park at their small animal farm. His lifelong ambition had always been to have a career working with animals and his passion for this work becomes evident when you watch Andrew training.

Andrew has always had a special connection with dogs in particular and is now the proud owner of his own German Shepherd, Manni, who can often be seen turning up for work with Andrew!

In the 5 years that he has now been with A1K9 Andrew has certainly learned a great deal about training dogs and in addition to training and looking after the dogs in his care, he’s always keen to lend a hand with group obedience classes and puppy socialisation classes that take place at weekends.

He is a much valued member of our team and is a big hit with both our customers and their dogs. Andrew often accompanies Charles on overseas handovers, mainly in Europe, however, in March 2011 he travelled to Bermuda with Gaynor to visit a client and provide some onsite training.
