Jacqui Law

Trainee Dog Trainer

Jacqui joined A1K9 in March 2011, originally visiting us as part of her on-going college course in Animal Science.

From spending one day a week at our facilities, she soon realised that working here alongside the team at A1K9 was the career path she wanted to follow.
As well as being involved in the training of the personal protection dogs that we supply, one of Jacqui’s other rolls is overseeing different aspects of the health and wellbeing of the dogs in our kennels.
As mentioned previously, Jacqui’s college course in on-going and should result in her achieving a degree in Animal Science.
Her passion for animals has always played a great part in her life, being brought up by her parents who used to show Yorkshire Terriers, Chihuahuas and German Shepherds - As a youngster she also helped to hand rear parrots.

Jacqui is a trained youth worker and counsellor although she has spent much of her previous working life within the retail sector, which she says she has no regrets in leaving.

Jacqui is very much a valued member of the A1K9 team and is highly regarded by other staff members and customers alike.

When not working most of Jacqui’s spare time is taken up with her degree work although occasionally she makes time to socialise with friends.
