Outdoor Training
As we are situated in a rural location, we are fortunate to have a lot of land(in excess of 100 acres), on which to train and exercise the dogs in our care .

Our own land is divided up into fenced training areas, large open fields and agility areas. We are however very fortunate in that we are surrounded by hundreds of acres of common land that we can also utilise. The common land has many bridle ways and footpaths and is ideal for lead exercise and day to day out for a walk obedience.
We also have access to wooded areas that can be very useful during the early stages of training personal protection and security dogs as there is much natural cover where a would be assailant can conceal themselves.

We do, however, also take the dogs to our local town and indeed into the centre of Swansea City as it is important that training is not just confined to the field. We are fortunate enough to have access to buildings in which we can train, these ranging from industrial premises to offices and residential property, to enable us to train in realistic conditions with day-to-day distractions.

Dogs that are just field trained have a tendency to only want to work in those conditions, it is therefore imperative to vary the training locations. Different locations contain different noises, people and smells and the dog has to learn that it should obey it's handler or owners commands irrespective of the location.
