Tom Cowley

Tom originally joined A1K9 back in September 2012 after he finished his studies in college; he remained with us for the duration until late 2015 when he left us to try a career change.
Such is Tom’s passion for dogs, it was not long before he decided that his new job wasn’t for him and that working with dogs was his vocation in life so in early 2017 he returned to A1K9.

Even when Tom is not working, dogs are very much an integral part of his life, owning his own Malinois and three standard Dachshunds. One could say he eats, sleeps and breathes dogs!
During his time at A1K9, Tom has gained much valuable experience and the skillset needed to train personal and family protection dogs to a very high level, yet he is always looking for new and alternative ways of making the training even more fun for both the staff and the dogs.

A keen member of the A1K9 team, he has become a very accomplished dog trainer and as such, has recently been promoted to Kennel Manager where he oversees all the daily tasks as well as passing on his wealth of dog training knowledge to other staff members.
